Jeff Musseau - Seascape, Landscape , Nature Artist

Canadian artist Jeff Musseau was born in Channel - Port aux Basques, Newfoundland. A self taught artist, he developed a passion for art at a very early age. Jeff started his career in pen & ink and gradually matured into working with acrylics, now his favorite medium. He believes that art is best learned through long hours of dedicated work. His strong personal commitment to growth and development spurs his determination to make each new painting better than the previous one. Jeff pays special attention to the tiniest of detail and avoids clusters in his subjects. His compositions are rich in color and realism. Long hours are spent laboring over each piece of work and only when satisfied does he feel comfortable signing his name. Living on the southwest coast of Newfoundland, an area known for its scenic rural beauty provides Jeff with the natural inspiration for his work. The abundance of shoreline, woodlands, farmer’s field, meadows and other natural settings provide encouragement for his particular artistic vision.
